Meet at Kenwood Viewpoint at 10:20, the viewpoint looking out over London, a short walk east of Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath. Search “Kenwood Viewpoint” in your maps app, or use the buttons below. We finish at the Brew House café next to the house at about 12:30.

Nearest address: Kenwood House, Hampstead Lane, London NW3 7JR (the viewpoint is a short walk east of the house). Nearest tube: Golders Green or Archway, then the 210 bus to Kenwood House. There’s a car park off Hampstead Lane (check the charges on the day). The Heath itself is free to enter.
Bring
- Your phone, or any camera you like. A film camera is very welcome.
- A charged battery, and a little space on your phone.
- Shoes you’re happy to walk on grass in, and a layer for the wind at the top.
- Nothing else. No experience of photography or meditation is needed.
Weather
We walk in light rain; the Heath is lovely in it. In a heavy shower we go under the trees or into the house. Only a storm cancels, and then you get a full refund or a place on the next date, whichever you prefer. I’ll email you the evening before either way.
