Recommended by the WHO

The World Health Organisation mainly uses insights from ACT in its recommended approach to stress management. With the high levels of stress in the health service worldwide, they are focusing on ACT because it works so well.

Applicable for All

ACT is a highly flexible and well-researched model. Amazingly, ACT is used by everyone from Olympic Gold Medal Winners to therapists working for the National Health Service because it’s strong evidence-base and effectiveness for a wide range of people. So if you happen to have some gold medals, you still have something to learn here. :)

Mindful Movement is Much More Accessible

Mindfulness is hard for most people to do whilst just sitting still. Gentle movements of the body make mindfulness and ACT far more accessible for more people. We believe this mindful movement and ACT combined approach would be beneficial for millions of people seeks to improve their mental health.

Teaching is the Best Way of Learning

This program will begin training you how to teach mindful movement practices. Most trainings in ACT are theoretical or talk-based. But we know from the latest in research, that we learn by doing, not just by passively listening. In fact, studies in ACT found if people stand up and bring ACT alive with their bodies, many people remember what they learnt for their whole lives.

Teaming ACT, Mindfulness and Gentle Bodily Movement

So, we’ve teamed up an ACT expert and a Mindful Movement Specialist to help to learn and share the ACT model through mindful movement.

But do both if you want to go deeper into ACT.
